RUUM Inc. operates ruumcare.com, a senior care marketplace currently in pre-launch. We are committed to handling your personal information with care and transparency. If you have questions, contact us at hello@ruumcare.com.
What information we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect the following information:
- Email address — required to notify you when RUUM launches
- User type — whether you are a family looking for care or a facility operator
- State — so we can notify you when RUUM is available in your area
- Referral source — how you heard about RUUM (optional)
- Facility details — for facility operators: organization name and number of buildings (optional)
We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or sensitive personal data during the waitlist phase.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to:
- Notify you when RUUM launches in your state
- Send product updates and announcements about RUUM
- Communicate directly with facility operators about founding member onboarding
- Understand demand by geography to prioritize our launch markets
We will not send you unrelated marketing email. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your information
RUUM does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party — ever. This includes data brokers, advertisers, and placement agencies. Our business model is built on transparency, and that starts with how we handle your data.
How we share your information
We share your information only with the service providers that help us operate:
- Supabase — database and infrastructure (data stored in the United States)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — website hosting and edge infrastructure
Each of these providers is contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their services to us.
Cookies and analytics
ruumcare.com may use PostHog for basic product analytics — page views, button clicks, and general usage patterns. This helps us understand how people use the site so we can improve it. PostHog does not receive your email address or any personally identifying information unless you explicitly provide it.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party retargeting tools.
Data retention
We retain your waitlist information until you request deletion or until RUUM launches and the waitlist phase ends. At that point, waitlist data is either converted to an account (with your consent) or deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data at any time
- Withdraw consent by unsubscribing from our emails
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@ruumcare.com with the subject line "Data Request". We will respond within 10 business days.
Deleting your data
To remove your email and all associated information from our waitlist, email hello@ruumcare.com with the subject line "Delete my data". We will permanently delete your record within 5 business days and confirm when it is done.
